Official Rules for CRAFT Beer Market Calgary Stampede Giveaway (the “Contest”) 

No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation in the Contest constitutes acceptance of these official rules (the “Official Rules”).

CONTEST PERIOD:

The Contest begins on June 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM PST and ends on June 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM PST (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be submitted and received during this period to be eligible.

SPONSOR:

The sponsor of the Contest is CRAFT Beer Market (the “Sponsor”). The Sponsor is responsible for the overall administration of the Contest and reserves the right to determine eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. 

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to enter, you must: (i) be a resident of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec); and (ii) have reached the legal drinking age in Alberta. 

You are not eligible to enter or win if you are:
(a) an employee, representative, or agent of the Sponsor, including its affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional agencies, or any entity involved in the administration of the Contest;
(b) an employee or contractor of any provincial liquor authority, beer distributor, participating licensed establishment, or any liquor licensee authorized by a provincial liquor authority;
(c) an individual involved in the development or execution of the Contest; or
(d) an immediate family member (parent, sibling, child, or spouse, regardless of place of residence) or household member (whether related or not) of any of the above. 

The Sponsor reserves the right to request proof of eligibility, including proof of age and residence. Non-compliant entries will be disqualified. 

HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase necessary. To enter:

Follow @craftbeermarket and @sandmanhotels on Instagram, like the official Contest post, and tag friends in the comments (one tag per comment = one entry; unlimited entries allowed). Instagram accounts must be set to public during the Contest Period and for at least three (3) days after it ends to allow for winner contact. 

Incomplete, late, misdirected, or technically faulty entries will be void. 

PRIZE:

One (1) winner will receive one (1) prize (the “Prize”), which includes: 

  • Two (2) round-trip economy flights for the winner and one (1) guest from any major Canadian airport to Calgary, Alberta, departing July 4, 2025, and returning July 6, 2025 
  • A two (2) night hotel stay (one [1] room, double occupancy) at Sandman Hotel & Suites Calgary South, 8001 11 St SE, Calgary, AB, from July 4–6, 2025 
  • Two (2) general admission passes to Cowboys Music Festival for one (1) night – either Friday, July 4 or Saturday, July 5, as determined by the Sponsor 
  • Two (2) taxi vouchers from the hotel to the Calgary Stampede Fairgrounds (1410 Stampede Trail SE) and two (2) taxi vouchers for the return trip 
  • One (1) CRAFT Beer Market gift card valued at $250 
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize: $3,000 CAD. 

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. No substitutions will be made, except at Sponsor’s discretion, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted. 

All expenses not expressly listed above -including but not limited to travel to/from the departing airport, meals, personal expenses, insurance, or other incidentals – are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

Winner and guest must comply with all applicable venue policies and ticket terms, including health and safety regulations. The Sponsor reserves the right to revoke all or part of the Prize if the winner or guest is intoxicated, violates any law or policy, poses a safety risk, or otherwise brings the Sponsor into disrepute. 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control (including but not limited to event cancellations, weather, or travel disruptions), the Sponsor is not obligated to provide an alternate prize or compensation. 

Prize will only be awarded to a verified winner. Return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to claim the Prize may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. 

ODDS OF WINNING:

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

A random draw will be conducted in Vancouver, BC, on or around June 24, 2025, at 2:00 PM PST by the Sponsor from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. 

The selected entrant will be notified via direct message on Instagram from the verified @craftbeermarket account. To claim the Prize, the selected entrant must: 

  • Respond within three (3) business days of notification 
  • Correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing mathematical question without assistance 
  • Provide any requested documentation (e.g., identification, flight details) 

Failure to meet any of these conditions may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate entrant. 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE:

By entering, entrants agree to release the Sponsor, its affiliates, partners, and agents (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or from acceptance, possession, or use of the Prize. The Releasees do not make any warranty, express or implied, regarding the Prize. 

TAXES:

The winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or other costs associated with the Prize. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for tax obligations related to the Prize. 

PUBLICITY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION:

By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to the Sponsor’s use of their name, city/province of residence, voice, and likeness for publicity purposes, in any media, without additional compensation. Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy. 

RIGHT TO TERMINATE, SUSPEND, OR AMEND:

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, if, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, any factor interferes with its proper administration. 

LANGUAGE DISCREPANCY:

In the event of a conflict between the English version of these Official Rules and any other language or promotional materials, the English version will prevail. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

All decisions of the Sponsor are final. Entries that are incomplete, lost, delayed, misdirected, illegible, or tampered with will be void. Automated entries are prohibited. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. 

Any attempt to disrupt the Contest or undermine its legitimate operation may result in disqualification and potential legal action. 

The Sponsor reserves the right to adjust any Contest date or deadline to ensure compliance with these Rules and applicable law. 

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. 

PROVINCIAL LIQUOR AUTHORITIES:

This Contest is not sponsored or endorsed by any provincial liquor authority and they are not liable for any aspect of this Contest.
