The Opportunity:

As an integral part of the Construction Department, you will be part of a team that coordinates with internal departments and subcontractors across Canada, ensuring project details are captured and executed seamlessly during the construction of new restaurants and renovation of existing restaurants under the CRAFT brand.

You Will:

  • Manage 2 new build restaurants and 2 renovations per year in various cities across Canada

  •  Produce and maintain accurate tracking and reporting for each project
  • Work closely with design team to value engineer projects while upholding CRAFT standards
  •  Travel to various CRAFT locations as necessary, during times of project planning & construction
  •  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to planning, budgeting, scheduling, tracking, quality control and problem solving

Technical Skills:

  •  Microsoft Office inclusive of Excel, Project, and SharePoint
  • Thorough understanding of full set construction drawings and spec packages
  • Experience with tracking and reporting on the financial status of a project
  • Knowledgeable of permit requirements & application processes

The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for supporting financial reconciliation for each location and reporting for all aspects of function and promotional sales. You will be a direct liaison between local tourism, event and trade boards, and our restaurant’s event coordinator, providing feedback, research, and analysis for event menu development and marketing materials.

You Will:

  • Lead, support and refine the value proposition, sales strategy and execute the tactics necessary to generate significant revenue in CRAFTs event sector
  • Support restaurant-level sales team for each CRAFT location, including training, volume support and opportunity development
  • Actively pursue new sales opportunities and business development (including but not limited to) Tradeshows, Networking Events , Online Listings, Cold-Call Outreach , Open Houses
  • Acquire and maintain trade/tourism/industry memberships and partnerships
  • Manage and support individual location event sales when needed
  • Support reconciliation for all restaurant functions and provide regular sales reports for SLT
  • Forecast revenue and manage profitability associated with events
  • Develop and implement function operations strategy and protocol
  • Conduct ongoing market research and provide support and insight for function menus and marketing materials
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to establish and build a strong national accounts strategy, sales pipeline and stream of business.

Skills And Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Event Management (preferred)
  • 3+ years event, conference and/or group sales experience
  • 3+ year(s) experience in team management and multi-unit role
  • Strong knowledge of the food, beverage and event industry in a restaurant setting

We are on the hunt for a Human Resources Coordinator. This role will be CRAFT’s primary in-house human resources position, with overarching responsibility for all aspects of human resources – reporting, team initiatives, selection and training, and auditing of CRAFT. In addition, this role assists in leading the organization through its growth, training materials, and leadership.

You will be a major part of  the cultural well-being of the company by delivering the proper HR guidance and making sure that the team members have a proper understanding of their growth goals and individual needs. You will guide and lead the operations team to a full understanding of HR initiatives and goals to ultimately lead the team in achieving the goals in profitability.

The main focus of this position is to aid with and facilitate the human resource processes for CRAFT. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between Market Partners/Managers and various vendors related to HR services. The Human Resource Coordinator makes sure that certain benefit plans are administered in accordance with federal and provincial regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative work with the VP of Finance function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry, as well as analyzing the current operations of the business from an HR perspective. A proper analysis of all policies and training materials to ensure we are giving our team the proper tools to succeed. In addition, work together with the COO on the growth strategy of the company by ensuring new store set-ups are done correctly, training, and overall guidance in the selection of new team leaders.

It is essential that this individual is a strong leader, will conduct themselves with professionalism and always maintain strict confidentiality of all employee information. This individual can multitask, has excellent organizational skills and will lead by example, they will also embody CRAFT’s values, possess a “go-getter” attitude and work effectively with little supervision at all times.
